On Ubuntu I’m using Gnome, even if I don’t really like it

I’ll probably stick with Plasma. My attempt to make friends with GNOME has failed miserably so far (but I never say never …). And I’ve kind of run out of steam with Xfce too after so many years. I hope for a good clarification of the problem with the Qt base.

Presently no DE here, just WM:
Main PC = endeavouros i3wm
wife’s laptop = endeavouros(lts) i3wm
rpi4 = debian + i3wm

It’s really disappointing how much I like GNOME 40 as well. Who would have ever thought?

Just switched (some days ago) to Cinnamon. I had distro-hoped a lot last weeks and tried Cinnamon on different distros. Installed it on EndeavourOS and it works like a charm.

Plasma on desktop and laptop and will remain on it for the foreseeable future.

I’m on Cinnamon now, came from Plasma. Does this mean I’ll soon be on Gnome 40 at some point?

60W, energy class E. I didn’t know KDE/MATE splice is such a power hog.
Also, why do I always have to read it in Czech language?
kde == where; mate == (he/she/it) confuse (something) or máte==“you have”
So basicaly this package sais "Where do you have 60W?

May switch if I can buy an all AMD packate to build in my H1. Probably switching to the distro with most helpful community. So Endeavour again.
