What games are you playing?

Guilty pleasures include Dopewars and Crack-Attack. I enjoy playing retro arcade games in MAME like Frogger, Donkey Kong, Galaga, and Enduro Racer.

Presently working through the Alephone Bungie/Marathon Trilogy games and the various fan made conversions.

I’m also a big fan of Introversion Games. I have Uplink Hacker Elite, Darwina, Defcon and Prison Architect and enjoy the game play over fancy graphics

Half Life…What a great game and series! I remember playing them using Cedega back in the day. Along with Call of Duty and Halo.

Ah, the Classics! Grins

Haven’t really played much in quite some time due to irl, job etc.

Got the urge to chill out in WoW, but it would just be a waste of money as I’d probably only get to play a few hours at most.

The last game I played through till the end was A Way Out, co-op with my girlfriend.

I’ve installed KotoR 2 on my laptop, hopefully I’ll get a few hours to play.
I’ve never finished it, got maybe 10 hours in a few years ago and really loved it.

Any S.T.AL.K.E.R fans here?

Rocket League since 4 years. No time for the new wow shadowlands but bought it…

Lots of Hades recently, it’s very moreish.

That’s a great game. Very simple mechanics, but really fun.

I love all the Introversion games! They offer great game play, and stand out from the crowd in offering something enjoyable and different,

Mainly Warframe as I don’t have the mood (and PC) for gaming these days and Path of Exile runs badly (when it runs).

@ptTrR is Rocket League playable? I tried to install it through Steam (Nov '20) and it was crashing to desktop at loading.

Yes it mostly is. Sometimes you need to change some launch options or start it via lutris.

Absolutely loved the series. They were very enjoyable, and a fun set of games.

I was a huge fan of their idea & advertisement of abilities and stuff they’ve started in alpha builds…
In the end game - not so much…

I think they could make it much much better at the time, but something gone very bad :frowning:

Still, nice atmosphere.

SoC is one of my favourite games of all time. CoC and Misery are great mods, put in many many hours into them. Kind of inspires me to give it a spin once again.

Well, I finished the game Control. I really enjoyed it. I enjoyed it so much that I took the time to 100% the achievements. Now I wish that there was a sequel to play!

Now on to Horizon Zero Dawn.

mostly xonotic which is free so check it out
some unreal 2k4, EU4, and HOI4
not much time for gaming

Hitman 3

To get it working on Wine:

  1. 5.21-proton-ge-1 (6.0 versions of Wine are possible with few registry hacks, but why really? :upside_down_face: )

  2. Create file:
    ${GAMEDIR}/Retail/dxvk.conf

    dxgi.nvapiHack = False

Playing EPIC version of game, with Lutris as launcher, full graphics - works perfectly

Going to have a crack at Mortal Shell now that I’ve found a linux launcher for Epic.

It’s definitely my type of game having completed all the Soulsbourne games.

I just finished playing Horizon: Zero Dawn on PC. The story was awesome. As with the game Control, I enjoyed it so much, that I did something that I normally do not do. I decided to go for 100% achievements. This game was just great fun!
