Nah, I always play my games to the end. It is just games that I REALLY like that I will look into 100%-ing. It just happened that the last 2 that I played, I really enjoyed.
My personal 100% that I’m most proud of is for Dark Souls and Dark Souls 3.
Sir, you’re a maniac!
@dodgypast You sir, are a sadist. My hat goes off to you.
If you look at the play time you can tell I really like From’s games:

After my 100% run of Sekiro, I’ve decided to revisit DS3(which I rage quit from those black knights).
And my my and I glad I did.
Now I can’t wait for Elden Ring.
That’s what i said too, now I get it.
I am not a fan of Anime, but I really enjoyed and just finished Ni No Kuni 2. Now I am off to Kingdoms of Amalur - Re-Reckoning.

I’m utterly disgusted and jealous at how well your library is organized.
Thank you. It did not take long to do. Once I had the names for the categories I wanted to use. All I had to do was right click on the game, select “add-to”, and choose the category.
I still keep a Windows 10 dual boot because of damn Faceit anticheat for CS:GO… BUT, I’ve spent so much time in Condition Zero and 1.6 these past weeks.
I installed a Windows XP VM to play classic games, especially Worms World Party. Recently stumbled upon Hedgewars, which I see has already been mentioned here. Oh my days. It’s the most blatantly inspired piece of software from specifically Worms World Party. Even the menu! The last few weeks have been well spent getting wasted by the bots in that game! Such fun and open source!
Also playing Hitman 3 right now. Can’t believe how far vkd3d-proton has come, that DX12 Hitman 3 can be played with near Window’s native performance on Linux.
Thought I’m using Wine-Staging (had no luck with Proton-GE), and had to do the registry hacks like you mentioned. Also launched using Lutris since I had to nuke and re-create several wineprefixes just to get this game working, and it’s easier to keep track what would work.
I’ve just got hooked on the Battletech game, it’s been in my library for aeons and I’m very glad I’ve finally got around to getting past the introductory missions.
Finished Diablo 3, played most of it co-op with my friends.
I find myself enjoying “simplistic” and straight to the point games, that have a clear goal / objective, more these days.
Open world games seem to be flavor of the month for the past few years and I just can’t find the patience nor the will to play them at all. It always feels, at least to me, that there’s too much to do in those games and I end up running around trying to complete it all and just burn out.
Even though I very rarely play anything at all (work, irl, etc…)
Also got a couple of DLCs for Stellaris, which I’ve never played properly. Hoping to find some time and chill out with some sci-fi.
I played Path of Exile at the league start for a month.
Currently playing Warframe, Darkest Dungeon, Loop Hero (great game, they should make a mobile version imo), Hades and Age of Empires II DE occasionally.
I am currently playing Metro Exodus. I had some fun figuring out why I was getting some graphics glitches. Turns out, tessellation was causing some fun glitches. Ironically, this game has been out for almost 2 years now.
With tessellation on.

The same scene, with tessellation off.

Once I figured that out, the game is pretty fun.
Huh, that’s weird i haven’t seen such artifacts with tesselation on…
What’s your GPU and wine / proton version i wonder?
Playing on Windows with DX12. It is a known bug with the game. It is present on the PS4 version as well in the same spot. It does not happen anywhere else. The devs think it is caused by either Ray Tracing or tessellation or both. The graphic fidelity really does not suffer with the tessellation off.
Thank you for your concern.
Oh, I am running an nVidia RTX 2070 Super with driver 465.89

Heretic ![]()
So it’s present on Windows and PS4, and not present on Wine / Proton… ![]()
Pretty cool ![]()
I wonder if @Krimkerre have encountered this bug on his playtrough?
Well, anyways, you can also significantly improve performance in Metro by completely disabling Motion blur (if you don’t care about it), which can’t be disabled fully outside of config file…
user.cfg
r_blur_level 0
r_game_mblur_scale 0.
Have a fun play, it’s a nice game ![]()
Thanks. I will definitely disable the motion blur, and re-enable tessellation and see if it comes back.
