Eve’s still around? (Honest question).
Yeah, had over 5000 in local for the fight. Roughly 100 titans lost on each side plus hundreds ofdreads and carriers.
COVID couldn’t have come at a better time for CCP.
I can’t decide. Control Complete Edition or Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition. I can only get one.
deleted because I’m an ignoramus
Personally I cannot recommend Horizon Zero Dawn strongly enough, I really enjoyed it. However I haven’t started Control yet so I can’t comment on it.
But Control is 3rd person
I liked it, it’s deep and on the slow side.
Haven’t play horizon though…
@linesma
However you can buy 1 and
other
Then
later if you liked it
Doesn’t bother me. I enjoy a third person game every once in a while.
Nope…
That looks like the one I will be going with then.
Thank you all for your advice. Horizon Zero Dawn is the one I will be going with.
Could it be that Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk are in the same universe?
Physics seem to match ![]()

Chrono Trigger! SNES version.
Served with a proper dose of scanlines ![]()
(Phew! Taking pics of a CRT is quite hard, had to match the shutter time to the tv’s refresh rate)
Also don’t mind the gas masks next to the tv, I collect weird stuff ![]()

Playing Greedfall and it is amazing. Having played the Witcher 3 everything afterwards hasn’t captivated me in the same way until I tried Greedfall.
If you like good story telling games with a heavy emphasis on trying to stay as neutral as possible (reminds me of Chaotic Neutral) this is the game for you. Combat is fun, guns are a little OP so I went magic, world is absolutely gorgeous!

It runs perfectly on Linux (Ryzen 2600 and 1070 Ti), just make sure you download and use mf-install .
- Download and unzip mf-install https://github.com/z0z0z/mf-install
- Use the following command: WINEPREFIX=“/home/username/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/606880/pfx/” PROTON=“/home/username/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/Proton 5.13/” ./mf-install.sh -proton
Note! Replace “username” with your user’s name and paths to both game’s prefix location in WINEPREFIX and your proton location in PROTON, and don’t forget to add “-proton” at the end.
If you are already running gamemode, you just need to add this launch text to the game properties in Steam:
LD_PRELOAD=$LD_PRELOAD:/usr/$LIB/libgamemodeauto.so %command%
If you are not using gamemode, you can set core usage using the below - it won’t launch otherwise from what I’ve read:
taskset -c 0-15 (core 0-available cores).
Color me green with envy. That is my favorite game from the SNES era.
Game update: I ended up buying both Control Complete Edition and Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition. My brother sent me a Steam gift card that allowed me to get both and still stay within budget.
Right now I am playing through the original Torchlight again. Wanted to play something mindless for a little while.

No need to be jealous… It’s running on quite a hacky contraption ![]()
I’m using a raspberry pi with a custom made GPIO to RGB scart cable (Standard the pi only does composite analog signals).
That in turn is run through an Otaku scart switch, which is connected to a Scart to BNC adapter which plugs in the back of the monitor.
I’m using a Wii U pro controller that’s connected to an 8bitdo receiver on the pi

Hey, it is working. That is all that counts. All I can say is impressive. The things we do for our gaming habit.
In my case you could probably change that to “The things we do for our scanline addiction” ![]()
I have the game originally on the nintendo DS, and I also have it on my Snes classic mini, but in the end, I’ll always run to my crt whenever possible
Last time I tried it, I was having massive slowdowns when entering big area’s.
Ran it with gamemode, Proton-5.21-GE-1, and TKG Kernel with F-sync enabled…
Maybe I should try again with Proton Experimental to see if the slowdowns are gone now…
I am really digging Control. It reminds me of a cross between the television programs Warehouse 13 and The X-Files. It is not all dark, it does have some humor.

This is typical of government computers. I wonder which version of CPM it is running.

From what I’ve read, do not use Proton GE, but the standard Proton in Steam with MF-Install file. That may be the issue.
for some odd reason it didn’t want to boot using regular proton when I tried it yesterday…
did the MF install thingy both on the standard 5.13 and on proton experimental, but alas…
Did a test with the latest proton TKG though, and that seemed to run just fine
Fortunately it’s free on PS plus so I’ll be getting it that way.
I actually started to play it on my sons Xbox Series X (Game Pass) and was having a blast, but my son wanted to play some games (after I hogged it for about 15 hours straight). I liked it so much, I bought it on Steam during the winter sale as I wanted to give the devs money.
Rise of the Tomb Raider
Beautiful game. Very nice Linux port.
