This feels almost off-topic here - but here goes.
My gaming options (apart from Mines and Bridges) are met by other systems. I use a console for high-speed, intense action games (like golf) or go seriously retro (like Amiga or the C64 mode of my C128). Now I’ll just leave all you experts to ponder the existential other-worldly weirdness involved
Mostly Warzone and Guild Wars 2. Feels like GW2 runs much better on Linux. Warzone I’m running on a virtual machine, works great.
Used to play a lot of Red Dead Redemption 2 on vm, but completed the campaign and the online mode seemend a bit bland so I haven’t played since. Might give it a try later if the game starts working properly on Linux.
Super Tux Kart is like a Mario type game, and its easy to play. Unfortunately it doesn’t work on Endeavouros, the screen just goes black after the mouse pointer disappears.
That’s weird, i thought it work on any distro…
Maybe you should bug-report to devs
Basically me for the past 11 years:
That’s what I thought as well. Can someone else try it just to make sure it’s not my system?
Can’t test on metal right now, but quick test on VM with up to date system works fine to me!
Probably it’s not game itself, not sure how to debug…
Have you tried to launch it from terminal to see output?
Maybe some errors will arise
Yes, from the terminal, no errors, it starts fine and goes downhill from there.
I’m currently playing a fun game which is called “Build an optimised version of clang and use that to build another otherly optimised clang”
Seriously though, although I have a lot of games (Steam mostly, and a few from GOG), I always come back to the same 3 or 4 games: EU IV, Ravenfield and lately Beam.NG (until it crashes).
going further down, I see an error:

No problems here, started the game from the menu in GNOME
My machine:
AMD Ryzen 7 - Radeon RX 590 - 16 GB RAM - Gnome with wayland
Best game ever! Too bad it’s nearly dead; but there still is a full server on most evenings though.
These videos could be a good resource for setting up GE protontricks:
Haven’t watched these videos. But have watched their videos on protontricks and launch options in general.
It’s pretty easy to use the Glorious Eggroll proton.
Installation
Manual
Native
This section is for those that use the native version of Steam.

. - Restart Steam.
- Enable proton-ge-custom
You can either enable it for all Steam games by changing the Steam play settings, or enable it for individual games from their properties page.
or
Personally I buy only from steam due to their linux support.
I’m the opposite. I don’t like gaming on consoles. I did try and play The Witcher 3 on my PS4, but I prefer playing games on my PC as I just find it easier using keyboard and mouse.
Thank you for the contribution!
Great title!
Yup one of my favourites I still haven’t completed it as I don’t want it to end
I have a Wii U, PS4 and PC.
Wii U since it was hackable and I’m a sucker for Nintendo IP, plus I have a 5 year old.
PS4 because there are some Sony exclusives I can’t live without.
PC because it’s more powerful than consoles for the majority of the console generation plus backward compatibility.
Same here. It can be fun with friends though. Last time I played on a console was more than 10 years ago, playing a Pro Evo Soccer tournament
