Thanks God it's weekend, what Linux project do you have in mind?

At the weekend, I was researching on the Internet how to remove unused old kernel images on Kubuntu.

Just a quiet sunday update breakfast, listening to HƤndels Serse, with a wintery backdrop.

I started the weekend early and moved all of my Bitwarden data to keepasxc and it was quite a job. I couldn’t convert the bitwarden json so I had to copy everything by hand.

You can export the Bitwarden data in csv format, Keepass can import them.

KeePass 2.x supports importing data from CSV files (all), KeePass 1.x (KDB, XML and CSV), KeePass 2.x XML, 1Password, 1Password Pro, 1PW, Alle meine Passworte, Any Password, Bitwarden,

I tried that several times but the passwords and addresses were all messed up and all over the place.

It’s a pity, when I switched from keepassxc to pass, I found a nice converter, it was easy.

I really should switch my last work laptop from win11 to EOS. Only thing keeping me from doing it one specific scientific software (Curse you Nvivo!).

Instead started writing R/Python script that loads powerlifting logs from my phone, analyzises them, makes plots and predicts next 4 weeks performance based on last 12 months.
And spend 30mins learning PKGBUILDs just to upgrade my Epson printer drivers as AUR package is still flagged out of date.

Switching to tilin WM has been my weekend project for last… 6 months now? Just cant decide which one.

I think i might try this also on my Pi 400.

I will finally start with creating a local Arch mirror, based on a debian VM - rolling release is wonderfull on the client, but not so on a server…

Install LegacyOS in place of ArcoLinux on my main use laptop. Relax guys and gals, EndeavourOS is already on it multi booting with other distros.

I installed Windows 10 on a friend’s laptop today and it was a terrible experience. I didn’t remember how much Microsoft tries to force their own services. Never again… And you can’t even skip account section if you have Home version, I mean WTF

The horror, the horror! :scream:

thehororthehoror

Yeah, next time it is Mint or GTFO

Are you sure you’re friends?
Friends don’t install Windoze to each other!

After this trial and swearing I am not so sure anymore :joy:

Who needs enemies with friends who install windoze on your computer?!

It was possible if you did not connect network during the installation. I mostly use windows in offline mode so it never asked me to create an account.

Good that it is possible. But it should not be hidden like that. But it is not new that Microsoft is treating users like retards :joy:

Friend or not, I would have told him to find a different poor soul for the job.
