Yup - the SX-64 was real rarity back then - and it was officially for tracking my expenses on the road (all accounting, actually) as I owned a long-haul truck. The fact that I got so I could finish ALL levels of Lode Runner on it was pure coincidence

The A500 was the more popular option once it came out (I think after about a year) but it wasnā€™t as expandable - so my next machine was the A2500 so I could put more harddrives and RAM in it (7 Meg!!! - it was so much that I went back to running a big RAM disk even though the hard drive meant it wasnā€™t needed as much. Essentially I loaded the equivalent of /usr/bin into itā€¦)

Those were the days. (yes, Iā€™m getting old)

The worst photo everā€¦ of the best TV I ever got (mobile died, and this 50 Euro must-have-now doesnā€™t do it justice).

I got myself a LG E9 55" OLEDā€¦

Currently rewatching The Mandalorian, and itā€™s something else in 4K HDR Dolby Vision, and Dolby Atmos, comming from a 28" 720p TV.

This is just pure porn for the sensesā€¦

Apropos, Iā€™m going to rewatch Sense8, do the same if you allready havenā€™t done it!

Got mine for 16K Euros, witch is i deasent price drop from 34K, in a year and a half. The new one for 2020 rocks a price at 42K right now.

Jo, svenskarā€¦ jag kƶpte tyvƤrr den sista i Sverige.

EDIT: Slight bummer, I got to get myself a new bench for the the TV, currently I have to tilt my head up, as the old one was perfekt for 28". So, IKEAā€¦ or if someone got any nice desiger bench tips in Europe?

About twice the bluebook of my 2000 Corolla, lol.

I would likely feel safer watching his tv than driving your car. :innocent:

Thatā€™s totally fair.

The question is: Would WE be safer with you watching TV than you driving his car??

(Actually a 2000 Corolla is probably just fine, and probably under 2,000,000 km too!)

Looks like you are in for a lot of fun. Make sure that you use a really good microSD card. I suggest using at least a v30 speed or above.

I have a LG B8 OLED and I can say I did pay more for it than I did for my car.

@SuppaMan You havenā€™t truly watched TDP until you watch it on OLED because it shows you exactly how much meth the animation team were on when they thought the choppy framerate was a good idea.

Yeah. Season 1 was rough and I donā€™t deny that. It got better in season 2 and 3 though so Iā€™m fine with that.

I think thatā€™s just cost saving - the 3D modelling is the same, they just rendered at something like 15FPSā€¦ :pensive:

I just bought a Dell T40:

Think itā€™s around 314.04 Euro.

I already have a pair of Dell T30s. But was cheap! This is a slightly newer model.

Xeon E-2224G, 8GB ECC 2666MHz RAM. I have 8GB of RAM here at home. Will be a total of 16GB in this.

Edit:

Link to the one I bought.
