Now for workaround as i recently came across it:
Most desktop environments provide an option to locate pointer.
For KDE, there’s an effect called Track Mouse.
System Settings > Workspace Behavior > Desktop Effects, and enable “Track Mouse”.
I just use Xeyes.
Using terminal centric distro as a main driver OS
Avoiding using terminal when there’s same or better GUI alternatives
Suprisingly nearly everything is avaible from GUI
Even welcome window of the EOS has GUI which covers needs of the most users
On KDE/Gnome with Discover or whatever gnomes use, for most of the time there’s no need in pamac
Windows users confused when seeing your system and confuse it with Windows 10/11
EOS so terminal centric that sometimes I forget that terminal exists
