My day at the Apple Store

No context. Just leaving this here.

i see, not only are you an adolescent, but a judgemental one at that. anyone who doesn’t hate what you hate is a clown, did i get that right? since this conversation is going nowhere, i’m going to go somewhere else.

Someone once tried to give me an old crapple phone they didn’t want anymore and I threw it in the trash

Yer I’ve owned 2 apple devices both were given to me, the first was some Macbook which I had fedora installed on (was around 2010/11) and the other was an ipad a mate gave me when I injured my leg and couldn’t get around much so I could watch movies in my room instead of having to hop down the hallway (was staying is a boarding house at the time) and I gave it away the minute I didn’t need it any more

Brother chill. The guy quite literally memes on you and the best you can do is “haha adolescent”. If you can’t reply, leave it dead. You said your piece.

There are lots of good uses for apple air tags but then there’s the other side! :grimacing:

Yep. Once humans are involved, there is always another side or possibility that must be considered. Yes, there are good sides to using Apple, Google, Microsoft, etc, but when people only mention the good things as if the bad things don’t exist, they just seem brainwashed/cult-ish, or at the very least, ignorant and apathetic.

The obvious bad side of Linux is that for most distros, there’s no customer support or warranty — people help you if they feel like it.

It’s best thing about Linux actually
It filters complete idiots, for the most part…

And it’s much better than corporate support that basically bounces you from one level of support to another until your brain explodes, never in my long computer life corpos helped me with some real issues…Micro$oft, Novydia…crickets.

Not enough, I’d say. I’ve seen some people here that really grind my gears when it comes to how little they know of the device/OS they are using. Not even trying to learn. Meaning the very basic things, not the technical ones.

Come to think of it: Yeah, I’ve never had an issue solved quickly for my HP laptop in the past, nor M$ OS. Linux forums are way more useful.

I dunno, it’s still extremely rare in comparison, maybe 3-4 in every 2 years…and 1 of them is troll
Even then either they’ll learn or leave it, which is totally cool. :upside_down_face:

I’m yet to see this level of idiots who daily drive Linux for a year +

I came across one just yesterday. They’ve been a part of this forum for over a year, so I assume they’ve been using Linux for at least that, too.

PS: You did say daily drive though. I don’t know them like that…

Well…then you have only one last option left!

They’re helpful when it comes to asking if you have tried resetting your device. Then maybe resetting it after blowing on it for a few seconds or doing some jumping jacks
