Exactly why I won’t ring my ISP, saw them working on the tower mentioned it to them but this was still the advice they had to give and it wasn’t til about 2 hours later I got the message that services would be down because of the work they were doing

i wouldn’t listen to this dude personally. i used to watch him a few years back and then in one video he said chrome is more private(yes private, if he said secure i would have understood but he said private) then brave and firefox. he was also using windows in all his videos for some reason. he just spreads FUD in the privacy community

Tell me something Apple does better than Android regarding the fact that same features could cost you less money , easy to repair and more open overall. The downsides and crappy nature of Apple products (newer ones) is what makes me hate them . I am not too sure but people usually say that Apple was the innovator and a cool company back in the 90’s and early 2000’s.
They are the innovators to this day, but they innovate in new ways to make people pay more for their products. This includes dark patterns, removal of features (and presented as improvement of security/performance/convenience), locking people into their product/ecosystem, generally setting the tone for other douchy companies to follow.

I can’t tell you exactly what makes them better, as I never used an iPhone, but from a consumer’s stance point, they have to be at least good enough for most of them in order to have the marketshare still. I don’t like them either, but their products to be at least average, otherwise they wouldn’t be here, as big as innovators and trendsetters as they were for the mainstream market. They have to have the product, alongside the marketing for it, to be bought to this level and for its fans to be this obnoxious.
It’s just the product itself . The products are Fantastic but some other things as I mentioned are not . They have some exclusive features which windows based PC’s (in terms of MacBook alike) do not have , perhaps that is why so many users . Apart from their MacBook lineup , there are plethora of products which do things better or at the same level as Apple at a fraction of the cost .
You’re completely correct. I don’t disagree with you here, but you can’t exactly beat Apple’s marketing here, sadly. For a fraction of the cost, you can get better performance and, in my opinion at least, a better experience than what Apple does, but that’s simply irrelevant here. Apple’s marketing is just too strong on some people.
