Well you could probably do that with less than $1B, unless you are living off of borrowed everything.
I would want to go forwards with MIT’s “Soap Bubble” idea…
I’d buy a better bootloader that works with everything.

tbh rEFInd is good.
I already use rEFInd and it’s easy if you are just booting one desktop. Not so easy when multibooting and wanting to boot from the image on each. I use it booting from grub separately on each. Now grub is screwed.
