That’s quite a few operating systems!
Out of curiosity why all the Windows ones?

So, what’s the advantage over Manjaro’s openbox?
Nice sidepanels with extra submenus, and Mabox Control Center…among other (English /Spanish/ Polish versions). Please check this vid
The answer is simple. Each machine has a different version of Windows installed. All of these computers, without exception, are dual-booted.
Yeah I see that. However, I wanted to know why you have several versions of windows? Do you have a a benefit for each one for example?
Just curious
Mabe so: He goes from one window to another until he finally finds the penguin outside.
I installed Windows 8 on one of my laptops that had Windows 7 preinstalled because I had a discounted upgrade license that Microsoft later allowed for a full installation. My other laptop originally had Windows Vista installed, I bought a used Windows 7 Pro license and upgraded it in place. I had Windows 7 Pro on my desktop originally, and I had an unresolved network error that I could only fix by reinstalling, so I preferred to upgrade to Windows 10 Pro during the free upgrade campaign. By the way, I also test programs under Windows. Nowadays, I use Windows less and less, because each machine also runs a Linux distribution, which was also added to the device after a long test. Was my answer satisfactory?
As I have literally just finished reading this article. I’m going to assume your question about your answer being satisfactory was not sarcastic, nor did it come from a place of malcontent, or defensiveness.
I didn’t want you to justify your reasoning for how all your windows partitions came to be. I only asked you why you had so many? As I was genuinely curious why a member of the FOSS/Linux community would have so many versions of various Windows operating systems on their systems.
So in this case a simple answer of “Hi Janinah, I test programs under windows” would have been suffice

P.S. Hey, hey!! Not THAT close! ![]()
Windows should sit isolated in VM.
Anyway, the different versions of Windows probably stayed on my machines not only because of testing, but also because of my laziness and habit. ![]()
I found the penguin a long time ago.
One of my favorite animals.
Whoever uses Windows is already an enemy? ![]()

I took more of a nuclear/radical approach and nuked the windows partitions off 2 of the systems in our house. I’d like to get rid off Windows partitions off my other 2x machines too, however I’ve kept those partitions as a backup for gaming purposes. But, thankfully I haven’t had to use them as I’ve had no trouble gaming and working from the linux partitions \0/ ![]()
I haven’t played in a long time. I stayed at Need for Speed.
