be very careful , they have to confirm for open platform
Impressive! Canât waitâŚ
I just got to the part where they state Microsoft Pluton will be integrated in the CPU. For some unknown reason I just fear a faul play from MS in the future. I hope I am wrong.
This is the first time I hear about it, and it is making me sick. A âsecurityâ product from Micro$oft embedded in the CPU. Absolutely disgusting, and probably a back door.
Liar, i was screaming from the rooftops!!!11 ![]()
This is definitely exactly what it looks like.
Jesus Christ, itâs like from 0 to Deus Ex in 60 secondsâŚ

Oh right! I totally forgot. Sorry!
There are so many new âsecurityâ products that try to backdoor you, that itâs getting impossible to keep track of all of them.
Itâs for your safety.
Although this one is top of the list, because itâs for all CPUsâŚwhich is INSANE.
From the sound of the information so far, it may only be active when used with Windows - or, of course, it may cause only Windows to operate âproperlyâ on them. Hard to believe itâs going to be in everything - even ARM stuff from Qualcomm!
I may be looking at keeping my current systems going for a long time - well, as long as Iâve got anyway!
Correction, nobody claims it is for your safety. Just for safety - and if you look at it from the position of a corporation it will be safety of their intelectual properly.
This âbackdoor featureâ is only for Ryzen 6000 (mobile) and 7000 (desktop)âŚ
5800x3D is safe, right ?
@freebird54
I donât know, even if it wonât technically work on Linux (which you canât really check, just like with Intel Management Engine and alike, at least those you can disable with a lot of workâŚ) - itâs still a hardware backdoor, obviouslyâŚ
@vlkon
Think about the children!!!1111â˘

I thought about them and their personal data will be collected as well. Happy? ![]()
Surely not! Havenât you provided them with Raspberry Piâs? They should be safe from such âenhancementsâ for quite a while⌠and they can run EndeavourOS which should give them all they need.
Soon, youâll be prohibited from opening your PC case. Thatâs the ultimate goal, complete abolition of property rights in your hardware.
Think Iâm overreacting? Already, in the current year, you are not permitted to open the hood of some electric cars. [YouTube]
I donât knowâŚas long as theyâre thinking about a giraffe.

Look, heâs so happy.
If not, weâll beat the hell out of you until youâre happy, KGB style.
< Attention unhappy citizen! Assume the position of getting happy!
Itâs another add on to the stupid TPM that they have where by if you donât have it or the right version your hardware canât upgrade.
Itâs like having Microsoft Edge browser. Garbage! Nothing but ads and tracking. I think it needs a UEFI Bios setting to disable it!
What even does safe mean? I mean we canât possibly expect for them to have gone black overnight. If theyâre black now we can assume theyâve been so for some time now. Itâs just acceptable to come out now. So what are we gonna do? Not use computers and phones? I mean that would be the smart thing to do. Weâre gonna boil over like frogs ⌠
