Reposting the same message, because I announced my problem to be solved, so the topic was closed, but it isn’t solved (so in the end it wasn’t just about the connectivity check) :
I’ve a connectivity issue : My Endeavour session get perfect connection on boxes and home routers wifi, but 99% of the time (don’t why, but it seems, in some occasion it works), I’ve a yellow sign on wifi label, written “Limited connectivity” and no access to internet when I connect to phone tethering (who works perfectly on other device, and even on my laptop with an other session booted)
I’ve dig around my firewall config, unsuccessfully (but maybe it come from it, I’m sure of nothing).
So, if any has any idea of where to look to fix it, it would be awesome, ‘cause this issue is kinda pain in the *** when I’m away from proper wifi connexion.
Thanks
P.S. : My system isn’t perfectly up to date right now, but I’ve been throught several full update with this issue still being here…
Just for reference for others, the other thread I assume @jokoko is referring to:
Can you clarify this please. Do you mean that when signed in as userA, the tethering does not work, but on the same device when signed in as userB, it does?
Also, have you tried USB tethering instead, and confirmed if that does, or doesn’t work?
Well, I only tried with only one user, the successfully try was at home, but maybe I tested it a bit quickly… Maybe your user question was about my others sessions on the same laptop : this are other OS session in dual boot (bazzite OS, based on fedora).
And the USB try was a smart idea, but it doesn’t work any better. At least it show us that it might not be about wifi config but about connexion sharing between my two devices.
Still experiencing this issue, which is quite anoying when I’m away from home. So updating the post to check if anyone might have any idea of how to understand from where it might come and find a way to fix it.
Problem still here, and I think it might be pretty basic about Wifi config or something, but I don’t know where and how to dig to find and fix it. This issue is sometimes very annoying, would there be anyone with some network skills to guide me?
