Phone wifi tethering not working

Hi,

I’ve a connectivity issue : My Endeavour session get perfect connection on boxes and home routers wifi, but 99% of the time (don’t why, but it seems, in some occasion it works), I’ve a yellow sign on wifi label, written “Limited connectivity” and no access to internet when I connect to phone tethering (who works perfectly on other device, and even on my laptop with an other session booted)

I’ve dig around my firewall config, unsuccessfully (but maybe it come from it, I’m sure of nothing).

So, if any has any idea of where to look to fix it, it would be awesome, ‘cause this issue is kinda pain in the *** when I’m away from proper wifi connexion.

P.S. : My system isn’t perfectly up to date right now, but I’ve been throught several full update with this issue still being here…

Just throwing this out there but do you have a firewall that could be limiting the connection?

Yes I’ve firewalld installed. Maybe he is limiting, but i’ve checked in the setting, and didn’t found anything. I set my phone’s wifi as “home” zone, but it didn’t changed anything.

This seems to be a very common issue especially with plasma

My problem was indeed the same as many people, but I missed it as I first searched for phone wifi tethering issue and not “limited connectivity” issue. The interest of community.
