if my title didn’t give it away already I’m sending my warmest regards from the emerald Isle that is Ireland.
You can either refer to me as Simon or Lord blastbass (I actually do hold a totally legitimate Lordship :P). I’m working as a security engineer for a firewall vendor and turning more and more into a full blown Linux Enthusiast.
I came to Endeavour when my Vanilla Arch Installation was acting up randomly freezing on me and nothing I or the Arch community tried did help and reinstalling didn’t solve the issue as well. I did though wanted to stay on the Arch Basis but Manjaro wasn’t really attracting me (no distinct reason so #nohate) so I landed on Endeavour, started with Gnome and quickly switched to Plasma since I do enjoy having the Plasma Integrated System Monitor Widgets on the side which Gnome doesn’t offer in the fashion that I like and I don’t like fiddling with Conky
Where I live, it has also been raining for the last week or so.
But since I’m working from home, I really don’t mind it. I’m actually quite happy with the weather. Also, it’s doing wonderful things for my garden which, by now, is completely overgrown. And yet it prevents me from working on it. I call this a win-win situation.
Do potatoes like the rain? I don’t know. Hello to you from the USA. Glad to hear the land of my ancestors is still lush and green. I live in a stupid city where the one redeeming quality was the view of a gorgeous giant tree and so the idiot landlord cut it down. Be glad you still reside in the land of our ancestors. There are worse fates.
Ironically Potatoes are among the pricier veg that can buy in Ireland which still to this day baffles me. I’m actually not Irish but have a profound love for this country hence I also live here.
