Yes. I’m more and more convinced that this is an issue with EndeavourOS website than with LibreWolf.
Not likely, looking at source - favicon is not broken / pretty normal on EnOS ![]()
Wonder why you guys see it and i don’t ![]()
Try in
about:config
ui.systemUsesDarkTheme
change the 0 to 1
Can’t remember if I did anything else, but that should give you a dark new tab
It can change color when you have multiple window tabs open. At least I’ve seen it. But tabs are bloat for you

No.
We all have our weaknesses ![]()
Yep, it looks like something network / cache related, coz some users see that favicon normal and some doesn’t
do you control network traffic with iftop?
Seems like an important change. Especially if any of those caches are shared between containers.
I’m testing Firefox 85. I’ve been running on Firefox ESR for years before.
And who say’s Firefox isn’t doing enough.
Now I’ve got Firefox 85 as quiet as LibreWolf is. Did it only with one file. user.js. Just put it in Root Directory in my profile in Firefox.
Edit:
Now Firefox is changing color a bit as it wants too.

Does this happen to any other favicon, other than EndeavourOS?
I’ve only seen it on EndeavourOS.
Interdasting…

And still nothing for me both in FF and LibreWolf
wtf
I’ve been using LibreWolf for a little while as well. I’ve not experienced any visual glitches either, but there are a few functional ones – especially for websites that I run in containers. For example, my unfortunate need of Facebook Messenger, pasting anything into the message box crashes the whole webapp. Overall though, I love that it removes all the fluff, as majority of Firefox features I’ve never used.
Seems to be so when you add user.js. LibreWolf runs the same or a similar one. My regular profile looks right.

The black one is with user.js.
Does librewolf ship with a user.js because I saw that on a totally stock librewolf.
It ships with a lot of stuff, based on:
User settings updates — We keep up with gHacks-user.js and pyllyukko’s user.js
They’re not coming “as is”, some settings are excluded
It must be some setting that is applied by user.js, which also comes with LibreWolf that causes specifically EndeavourOS forum favicon to display incorrectly. It sounds crazy when I say it like that
but I have not seen this on any other website, with any other favicon. And vanilla Firefox displays the icon correctly, of course.
