Why do you need zenity?
metacity has zenity as depency but since qarma replace zenity then is ok, zenity also need webkit2gtk as depency… qarma is a zenity version of qt…
Now I understand. By the way, I found something like this about zenity from years ago. https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/metacity/+bug/1535184
Cinnamon for me all the way. I did try Plasma a few weeks back since it looks so good visually and I kept thinking how green the grass would be on the other side.
But I had to configure so damn much on Plasma to get it in a workable state for me personally and there are so many options to tweak in every program and the right-click menu was also pretty crowded with options so I just went back to Cinnamon.
Less is more for me.
That said, it is a damn good DE, but it is just not for me.
What in the world wide web is i3-WM? Never heard of it, and why does people use it?
Try geany?
I use Gnome. I’ve been a Gnome user since I started using Linux years ago. I’ve tried all the other DEs and Gnome always feels like home. It’s beautiful and functional out of the box, and gets out of your way so you can get things done. It’s easily customizable and extensible, and the development and user community are friendly and helpful.
I switched to Xfce about half a year ago, because with KDE (which I actually like a lot), I was constantly facing new problems after updates. You set everything up so that it fits, then an update comes and shoots you something again. With Xfce I can sit back and enjoy the stability. But, as I know myself, I try Plasma again with 6.1 at the latest.

OK, but its your first posting
or medit. it’s gtk based and has only two dependencies. Best lightweight editor. Until someone decides to port Notepad++ to Linux that is
Plsama KDE, it’s an absolute joy to use, and flexible enough to handle requirements for different levels of visual impairment. Low vision isn’t a static situation, Plasma helps in that I can set up a scheme for how my sight is for that day. I haven’t found another desktop that can do it in such an easy way.
Plasma Is Great…
I see what you did there… ahem
