First torrent client I used was Deluge (from my windows days).

When I switched to Linux, Transmission was the obvious first choice, but for some reason I wasn’t able to connect to seeds. (might have been a bug in the version i used). So I used Deluge on Linux too, which I soon noticed was dropping download speeds when running on background. I switched to Vuze, which was too laggy.

I finally settled on Qbittorent. Wonder why I didn’t use it earlier.

QBittorent, mainly because of the built in search engine function :).

Transmission

I use transmission, but I basically never use torrents, period.

Back in my Wndows times I used Vuze (has a frog icon  ). Nowadays sticking to Frostwire.

I have used a bunch over the years. On Linux I have used deluge, transmission and qbittorrent pretty heavily.

These days, I stick with qBittorrent like most of the other people here.

As long as I can download the Linux ISO without a torrent, I won’t use a torrent loader anymore. I used to overdo it a lot until I once got a visit from unwanted guests (it’s been over 10 years …).
