Let go of my mango Eh!
Nah. Letâs go mangoing together, man.
Now thatâs an idea.
As Microsoft announced it will only be producing Surface hardware (overpriced) in the future, I got hold of this with some difficulty.
The old IntelliMice from 1999 (older than the one youâre showing) were the only good thing Micro$oft has ever done. I still have a couple, very reliable and almost unbreakable. Probably made from the same stuff Nokia 3310 were made.
The only thing that was not properly made was the mouse wheel: it was made of vulcanised rubber and if you leave in sunlight, it turns to glue. I think they fixed that in later variants.
I have a âballâ Intellimouse of that type. The only issues with it are:
- The ball.
- That its shiny white plastic has become yellow to a fantastic degree, worse than anything else Iâve ever owned.
But, in what must be 25 years, that plastic hasnât worn or started to flake off.
It also has a PS/2 plug, but a Perixx PS/2 to USB adapter fixes that.
Got me a R5 5600 and a b550 motherboard

Next I plan to upgrade the GPU and then eventually the case but for now this was a huge upgrade going from an fx8320 with 1600mhz ddr3 ram to r5 5600 with 3200mhz ddr4 ram.
Noctua sells these interesting PC fans that are 140 mm in diameter but have 120 mm mount points. Really cool⢠to upgrade e.g. your original 120 mm CPU cooler fans:
And the Redux version doesnât even brake the bank starting around USD 15.
Cool ⌠i have the noctua NH-D15 for my next desktop Ryzen 5800X
For the occasion of 75th year of Independence, the Government had released the special coins of various denominations.
Finally I managed to get my hands on few of them :
The United States minted state quarters for all 50 states during the period of 1999 through 2008.
These quarters were minted in Denver, Colorado and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
I have a friend who dabbles in coin collecting. Through him over a 10 year span, I was able to receive all 50 states from the Denver mint, and all 50 states from the Philadelphia Mint in uncirculated condition. I received 5 coins of each variety to fill 3 Albums . One for my wife and I and one album for each of my two children. The rest I have traded away over the years.
It was great fun.

In past( around 1980s), there used to be the coins of very small denominations like 5 paise, 25 paise, 50 paise, etc⌠And those coins felt like holding a thin sheet with slight matte finish.
If I convert the Paise into Rupees, then :
100 Paise = 1 Rupees
As expected, those coins became extinct , and it is very difficult to find them. My Grandfather might have racked up few of them, I guessâŚ
The peculiar fact about those coins were that they were not circular. Instead, they were pentagonal, square or hexagonal :
You can see, how antique these coins look !
Wow, If 1980s are antique, I must look REALLY antique
I am not sure about your country, but a lot of countries did this so visually impaired people could feel the difference between coins.
Pudge
No !
1980s are antique because I came into existence in the new century, hence I really donât know how it feels during those eras( 60s, 70s, 80s )âŚ
Let me tell you, it feels great!
I bought a 80x80mm sheet of PTM7950. Repasted my T14 Gen2 AMD with it (was stock paste).
Running a stress test with all 16 cores being pinned to 100%. All cores are running (slightly) faster than base speed. Yet, look at the core temps. Not breaking 60* C.
If anyone is debating using PTM7950, I can say this test blew me away for how it starts out. And according to Honeywellâs testing, it starts to get more efficient after a few hundred phase change cycles.
Cool. I used to have a collection of these in my teens. Should talk to my parents if they can find it in my old room. I also had a couple of coins from when India was still a British colony. My grandmother had given them to me. Completely forgot about those until I saw your post. Guess Iâm not a very good grandson.
I also have one of these and will certainly get one or two in stock before the remaining stock ends up on ebay and is then no longer affordable.
