so you decided to go with sardi icons for the installer ?

no we would like to take something from Arch Repository, so that we do not need to maintain it, but it needs a complete set, and there are more or less not that much on the repo…

Basic basic… Going to be boring and use a Minty-y theme I think.
Question is: The one I found that’s custom (and Arc Blue) or the included one with purple highlights that matches the EndeavourOS logo…

Decided to take the plunge last night and move off my Manjaro install, to Endeavour w/ Cinnamon. Purple Zelda theme, best theme.

remembers me the distro ā€œparabola linuxā€

I like the concept behind Parabola, but as a daily driver, no.

Life without proprietary drivers is pretty harsh.

well, I put in blueman instead of blueberry. Gnome’s Bluetooth solution is just… worse. There’s a reason why Manjaro Cinnamon uses Blueman, it just works better.

Also, I found that for Cinnamon specifically, someone is still maintaining the Adapta themes!!

Anyway, did I overdo it? Have not found a wallpaper that matches, also I am not sure if I will stay with this or go to the old default (aka Adapta). Also I know this is an old staple but if @joekamprad or @Bryanpwo or anyone wants tips for theming, the basic adapta icons have the exact right shade of blue on the folders for the Arc theme. Which is on purpose, I’m sure.

Nice terminal-transparent. It’s a pity that this feature by default removed.

adapta is currently in freeze in wait of a new maintainer. its not lost yet but need some to take over. as arc i dont know

I’m not very familiar with Xfce or Plasma. How do you set cyanogen?

That was my point though, Adapta for Cinnamon has apparently been forked, specifically.

i thought once they did a complete color swap to purple…later on they changed back to origine color.

I downloaded it thru the Cinnamon theme ā€œstoreā€. There it says it’s updated latest June 2019 and based on the original Adapta theme.
But this version of the theme is not in the Arch repos nor in the AUR.

So it’s an Cinnamon exclusive fork.

You can get the theme here: https://www.xfce-look.org/p/1276409/
You simply unzip everything in a folder called Cyanogen and place it in ~/.themes then set it up in Settings Manager → Window Manager → Style

There we go: My first light themed desktop in years. Something retrowavey-ish yet summery-ish, fitting in this heatwave.
