suckless and s6

The past couple of days, I’ve been getting the granddaddy of all Arch-based distros set up —pure Arch with KDE Plasma.

  • Panel: Panel Colorizer
  • Global Theme: Breeze Dark
  • Colors: Arc Dark
  • Application Style: Darkly
  • Plasma Style: Darkly
  • Window Arc Dark
  • Icons: Yet Another Monochrome Icon Set

I forgot about one of my all-time favorite Linux themes… Arc. And the Arc Dark KDE theme still works great, even though it hasn’t been updated in nearly 4 years.

I wonder that Arc Dark is really working without colouring or something problems. It hasn’t been updated since 2022. I didn’t use it for that reason
If that’s not the case, Arc is one of the best color schemes out there.

One of the main reasons I love ARC. And after four years of no development, she still looks great! I wish someone would either take it over are just do a fork.

I think I’m going to add the Arc theme to my main PC and see if I get the same great results on my trusty EndeavourOS install.

Is this the same laptop you settled with using OpenSuse?

Yep. I really do love openSUSE Tumblweed. If Arch didn’t exist, THAT is what would be my daily driver. But Arch does exist, and it just feels wrong not using Arch.

No matter how much I switch things up, my DE world still revolves around timeless, classy Arc Dark. It seems to defy age.

Back on the PC, EndeavourOS KDE Plasma and Arc…

Arc Dark is my favorite color schemes when I first landed into KDE Plasma land.

Uncle you forgot to say “BTW”

More Arc theme happiness -

Not much to see. But the devil is within the details.
Lots of system maintenance, setting up archcanary resulted in doing a brief system audit via lynis as well as arch-audit.

Also addressed some OAuth2 authentication issues with ncspot only for the purpose of addressing it’s rather “blocky” TUI interface eventually.

And removed a whole lot of clutter in terms of installed packages, reduced the installed packages amount to less than 2000.

Kvantum in the repo was updated 8 months ago, if it isn’t broken no need to update.

Simple yet effective Black and White with blueish accents desktop

Still the same setup. I just swapped the wallpaper to make this post look new.

Wallpaper change on my EndeavourOS openbox wm install on my main daily use laptop. I call it “Purple Honeycomb”.

Due to some mental health issues, I’ve moved to Fedora, just so I don’t worry too much about stuff. Also, new wallpaper!
