I appreciate you for that. But we are talking about football, you have to be honest

Alright then, in the first half :germany: were as bad as :portugal: but the second half was honestly a good performance :soccer_ball: They might struggle against :sweden: though…

Today’s matches in UEFA Euro 2025 are:
:england: vs :netherlands:
:france: vs :wales:

:france: qualify for the knockouts with a win, but :england: are out if they lose to :netherlands:

To add extra spice, Sarina Wiegman (the :england: manager) is a former manager of :netherlands: and her assistant Arjan Veurink is the next :netherlands: manager. Off pitch partners Beth Mead :england: and Vivianne Miedema :netherlands: are both highly likely to start for their respective teams.

To the point! I couldn’t say it any better :soccer_ball:

It’s going to be a very interesting evening with very thrilling matches.

:england: , in this case Manchester United Ladies, against :netherlands: , Haarlem Womans FootballClub, has been played before. In 1958 :soccer_ball:

You may have to translate this page into english

State of Origin, New South Wales vs Queensland, live on Sky in UK. Best of three, currently 1 all, so winner takes the series.

Queensland currently 2-0 up (penalty field goal)

The video looks more like 1908 than 1958! It’s crazy that women’s football was banned for so long

Old, white-haired men probably thought at the time that women belonged at the stove. Fortunately, we have outgrown this era a bit

30 minutes until kick-off :soccer_ball:

Are you nervous? :england: need some points. I want the :germany: girls play the quarter-final against :england: :soccer_ball:

A bit… I think Beth Mead is lucky to miss out, but hopefully she’ll be fired up when she comes on as a substitute :fire:

I’m not taking final group positions for granted for either :germany: or :england:

Don’t worry, :germany: will win the group. Mentality and all. We’re a tournament team. The longer the tournament goes on, the stronger the girls become.

( I hope this statement doesn’t land on my feet  )

Well played :england: . An amazing first half

In this constitution, it would be better for the :germany: to play against the :netherlands:

Yes, two great goals :soccer: That pass from Hannah Hampton for the first :star_struck:

:netherlands: are still a good team, and I’m not writing them off in this match yet.

Agreed, but played a terrible first half. I don’t think they’ll make a big comeback. :england: are too strong for them today.

Congratulations to :england: . Sovereign victory. Three points. Done :soccer_ball:

Very happy with that

Now to cheer on :wales: (almost certainly in vain) :soccer_ball:

I am afraid so too. It won’t be an easy game for :wales:

Told you :clinking_beer_mugs:

Great first half from the :wales: team. Too bad, another goal conceded just before the end of the first half. Maybe they will pull off the surprise :wales: :soccer_ball:

The :wales: women have the heart of a lion but are technically very limited. Nevertheless, a great match from :wales:

:england: are the :lion: and :wales: are the  The Welsh would be offended to be called lions

Yes, while they have a few players at big clubs, their goalkeeper today has only ever played 10 league matches (all in the :england: second division).
