No X11 option on SDDM

I’ve installed the 19/03/2025 EndeavorOS version.
I’ve used KDE Plasma and installed with the default option so X11 is installed.
I don’t know why but there is no select to choose between Wayland and X11 on the SDDM login screen.

What can I do? Is this intentional or a bug?

Some more info:

  • Used UEFI NVIDIA with an RTX 2060.
  • GRUB bootloader bc I’ve Windows already installed.
  • I didn’t modified anything on the installer options and I’ve not logged in yet so I did nothing special.
  • Used the online installation.

You probably need to run sudo pacman -Syu plasma-x11-session. See here for the announcement.

thanks for this, i noticed that after updating yesterday and thought x11 was no longer supported on plasma desktop

And kwin-x11

sudo pacman -Syu plasma-x11-session kwin-x11

kwin-x11 is a dependency of plasma-x11-session and will be installed with it.
