I have installed
ffmpegthumbs but Dolphin cannot create thumbnails for Pdf files . Thunar does it . Do I have to install any extra packages ?
I have installed
View -> Show Previews
Make sure it’s checked.
Don’t forget to go to Dolphin preferences, General, Previews tab and tick the box for pdfs
Sorry, @Kresimir beat me to the punch
There is no such tab , that’s the issue .
Option to enable video thumbnail will only show up after installing
ffmpegthumbs . Like this I am missing something for creating thumbnails for pdfs ( that’s what I think ) .
Also General -> Previews -> Skip preview for local files above
should be set to something higher than default or 0 for No limit
I also have the dolphin-plugins package installed. Not sure if it provides additional functionality to this question, but you may want to test if the above solution doesn’t solve it.
That’s not the issue . There is no limit on it . Just give me the output of
pacman -Qs thumbnail . I will figure out what I am missing , or even
