Lenovo added an on of switch to the firmware already:

Pluton will be disabled by default on 2022 Lenovo ThinkPad platforms.
Specifically the Z13, Z16, T14, T16, T14s, P16s and X13 using AMD 6000-series processors. Customers will have the ability to enable Pluton themselves.

That’s obviously a scam, since you can’t prove that by no means, because firmware is closed source, CPU is closed source, M$ Pluton is blackbox intentionally…

And technically hard to believe that bit is OS independently downloading or uploading any data…
It say sit can load firmware files from flashdrives or while you boot WindowsOS.

I would think so too years ago about Intel ME and AMD PSP…Amongst security professional it’s already out of question that it happens, unless you flash it with crap. otherwise it won’t have a dedicated chip running Minix instance.
