Okay, here I go:
We use Calamares as our installer, which installer were we initially going to use for the net installer?
I admit, this one is a tough one, but the answer is not Cnchi.
Do you want a second try?

I will help you out of your misery, because I think even Manuel and Joe have to dig deep in their memory for this one.
It is the second one named in the article and we had serious plans to use it.

What, Fenix ?!
I thought to name it, but wasn’t sure it was first…I’ve also seen Zen somewhere in there

Yes, it looked very promising, clean and simple when the reborn devs showed it us. But that cooperation never went off the ground, nor the development of the installer. Reborn still uses Cnchi that is interwoven in a special way in their live system.
When Fernando and Joe found out that there was a hidden and underdeveloped net installer in Calamares, they went full ahead on that and that basically “killed” Fenix, because we didn’t have to reinvent the wheel with Calamares.
