Leaked hostile and gross Redhat slideshow?

Yes I did. And I do not know what you are referring too.

This murder was committed 3 years ago, but for some reason was leaked by 3rd party to someone who doesn’t like the murderer…AND THAT SOMEONE IS A VERY BAD MAN!!!111, it’s even written in completely unbiased Wikipedia!

Everybody knows that big corporations get away with murder! Everybody does that, it’s typical policy around the world to get away with murder, everything is completely fine.

Linux is Free Software, that means that even the most disgusting racists are free to use it, modify it and distribute it. So no, nobody should be “removed from the Linux space”.

But their racist views should be put in the disinfecting sunlight for everyone to see. When it becomes embarrassing and unprofitable for them, maybe they’ll change.

Oh come on, you could just agree to remove Wayland’s main contributors…!

But you’re a :frog: of principles.

Well, yeah. Even racists and Wayland contributors have the right to software Freedom.

It’s licensed under MIT though…i wonder if MIT permits something like that IBM commandments stuff to be agreed before using Wayland…

EULA commandments of Wayland
Either you admit that Wayland is better than X and is the future…OR ELSE!!!11

You are right. I just find this blood boiling.
They need to get exposed for this and once they see the red numbers they will backtrack all the dumb stuff like making the life of Alma and Rocky harder.

You can criticize this. But it doesn’t ruin the message. The presentation very much addresses and names the problems of racism and discrimination. E.g Whiteness. Many articles have been written about this topic. Also here in Germany and elsewhere (“Alte weiße Männer!”).

At the end of the day I put it this way: I am an old white man. But I do not feel discriminated by this presentation.

Hopefully…But likely they’ll double down even harder, coz that’s IBM.

Then i hope that the rest of the software devs fork them until they can’t do business

You are not the only one claiming that this presentation is racist. May be I did not read it carefully enough.
Can you you please quote the two or three most racist passages here so that I can make up my mind again?

It’s completely obvious that this presentation is extremely prejudiced against an entire race. If that is not obvious to you, I’m afraid you’re so deep in the cult that there is no helping you.

But to give it a try, do this exercise: replace the word “white” in that presentation with any other ethnic group (e.g. Jews) and it should be clear even to you how disgusting their message is.

Yes @Kresimir can you please make sure to break forum rules so that you’ll get banned?

With “entire race” you mean white people?
And which prejudice do you mean?

I’m done with you just like I’m done with IBM.

I meant the context *content of the “Commandments”…

And because I don’t want to be presumptuous and reading back at my comment it probably wasn’t as clear, I’ll give the benefit of the doubt (because I mentioned wording) that you understood I was saying the word “Commandments” is problematic.

That is not what I meant.
What I meant was that some things written in the whole document should not ever be acceptable to express, let alone in a work environment, let alone as “commandments”.

I remember that someone somewhere in the forum referred to racism and homophobia as “effective buzzword blablabblaaaah…”. I guess it’s searchable

I Use OPENBOX btw

That’s X11.

Well of course it is silly
