(Already) Corrected. Sorry, my brain farted there.
Another question: Obviously this is remote learning and requires an Internet connection. How are connection rates in Thailand? Are they cheap and/or at least flat?

No worries. I realized that I may have come off a bit harsh. So I edited it a little bit.
Very reasonable for the local economy. I have one of the more expensive plans at 50 USD a month for 1gb symmetrical fibre connection with no data cap. Plans can be had for as little as 10 USD a month. Mobile data is also very reasonable. In some ways, it is cheaper than buying “talk minutes”. Many do the “pay as you go” option. I do not know pricing because my wife and I buy our phone minutes and data in a monthly package. I know that my brother-in-law mainly buys data and they only call using a VOIP style service that is free.

Same fear rereading my comment here. As a non-native speaker myself it always feels somewhat harsh using basic vocabulary which has the tendency to lack nuance. It is what it is.

Thanks for your perspective. It’s always great to learn about the situation in places one isn’t familiar with!
Beautiful!
Now if only they could make a good voice chat system so i could easily convince people to not use discord. The text chat is pretty good but VOIP in matrix clients leaves much to be desired.
Yep, there is always room for improvement!
What clients you’ve tested?
I think so far Element/Riot, Fractal, and i think Mirage. I the voice quality if fine but I really dont want my VOIP to be like skype and having to make calls. I refuse to use Discord but the VOIP on it is so nice to use.
I believe it’s “never interrupt your enemy when he’s making a mistake”.
