Only blind can’t see reality of now and tomorrow.
That being said, what we disagree on - is notion of getting demoralized, lie down and die.

I’m not saying don’t fight I think we should but we should also go in with the understanding of the reality that most Users won’t care and they will blindly just follow.

I will not assimilate! I will never use the Chrome browser or Edge. I dislike Google as much as my disdain for Microsoft. I think the web should be setup to only pay ad revenue for products or websites that the user actually searches for. No user should be spoon fed these crap ads and revenue paid because of it. It’s an invasion of privacy. We shouldn’t need ad blockers because we shouldn’t get ads. We should only get the website result for the search we intended. It’s sickening and Google can get lost!

I don’t know about you, but I don’t intend to go to the same place Bill Gates will go, when we’re dead. If he goes to Heaven, I’ll happily go to Hell, but I hope it will be the other way around.
Hopefully we’'ll get a chance to have some choice…
Perhaps Heaven and Hell are absolutely proprietary

We get a choice every day. However, some people made wrong choices in the past, so their present choices have become very limited. I’m fully convinced some people no longer have free will, they are just automatons whose future is fully deterministic.

I may have to give up on computers sooner than later and switch back to woman, may cost me more in the long run.
While that might be your world that is not mine. Not yet anyway. I have no “need” to purchase an aeroplane ticket as you explain. I will travel in my country and if I can not visit others then I won’t. I have no need to.
I can travel at this point, anywhere I want within this country. The “alphabet” companies or otherwise will not stop that. Here in the rural areas where I live cash, credit, or digital currencies are one and the same. Barter is king and while any government will try to exploit or control that it pretty difficult to say the least.
We are living in a dystopia worst than any sci-fi movie ever, and nobody seems to care.
I care and you will be surprised to see how many others do as well. In my country, we will fight as much as we can in any way possible. It’s in our nature.

I don t think it s that folks don t care. It s ingrained into society. It s just the way it s all done today. Not only that; while it is productive it s also so addictive that most can t help it. They look at you like your e crazy if you try to explain that back in the day we used a piece of paper call a check to pay bills. Well, maybe we re not quite there, but soon…
