I use Gnome because I kinda have to (convertible laptop, touch screens work out of the box with Gnome), but I’m not updating until Endeavour makes it available.

Solus Gnome & Solus Budgie are using Gnome 41 and no issues!

Where’s Gnome 41? Geez they’ve even had it for ions on OpenSuse Tumbleweed. Glad I’m on KDE. I just got another ton of updates. This is like the 3rd time since Gnome 41 fell off the grid.

If I am not mistaken Arch waits for the 41.1 before it let it out in the wild.

KDE no never just look at the problems you have to turn off effects Latte dock blaa blaa Gnome only breaks for a day for some Lol once every six months if you want 365 works you need any obsolete WM as they ran out of things to break OB, #
JWM, fluxbox. windows10! NO NO.

Be nice to other FOSS projects. We may be here for KDE, but GNOME is a good project too. There’s room for more than just one, and in fact healthy competition between projects is a good thing! Do don’t hate on GNOME if you’re a KDE person. They do a lot of things right and they produce quality software. Be a good ambassador! (Oct. 13, 2021)

I think it must just be a numerical surfeit of KDE fans - the trolls are few in proportion to the totals…

I keep an eye on it the same way I keep an eye on Windows… to make sure it isn’t taking over the world and forcing me to come back! XFCE works!

There are several people on the forum who, when faced with any thread about Gnome, feel the need to come tell everyone how bad they think Gnome is and how much better and how perfect their favorite DE or WM is.

I do feel better about using Gnome. … on my second machine I have been using KDE which I finally had set up to something I felt was useful using latte-dock. Today’s batch of updates have broken that … you’d almost think I was using an extension on Gnome
