That sounds more like “Lunduke joke of the day” type of content. It’s a joke, and the only thing funny about it is how bad it is

I hope Anthony from LTT will start making some linux mini series. It would be so cool!

I read last night that bad reviews were coming in. This game is so hyped, but the developers should have pushed the release date forward to iron out all the issues. I will get it in another year, when a few patches have been released and the price falls.

Few millions of patches :joy:
Yeah i guess you got point, i’m most likely doing same…

I love gamers (including me) we want it NAO!!! Why is this buggy!!!

People are dreaming up a game beyond perfection, yet get disappointed when suits push it out into the market to capitalize on the ongoing hype, despite the developers warning.

The only game I ever got excited about and waited 9 years for is Bannerlord. It’s still far from finished and chilling in early access, but one day I’ll get it. There’s enough out there to experience in the meantime. :stuck_out_tongue:

Well i love game devs who’s making a game since 2012 and then…

Back in my time nobody could allow themselves badly tested buggy mess…
Otherwise it would mean suicide for studio.

And now look at them…All those pre-order fanboys stepping on the same rakes over and over again…

I was eagerly awaiting this one, but now I’m thinking about waiting for a bit longer too, and buying it when it’s on discount…

Yeah, put it on the “wishlist.” I have so many.

Cyberpunk playable through Proton 5.13-4

Here is more…link.

For Nvidia cards, I found this…

It’s a DX12 game, so it runs through vkd3d-proton rather than DXVK.

As for why it doesn’t work on Nvidia GPUs, it’s probably that this game requires a specific Vulkan extension that isn’t implemented in the Nvidia driver yet (also likely why the freshest mesa-git is needed to run it on AMD). There’s not much you can do about that, other than wait for Nvidia to implement the extension. I don’t know if they’re planning on supporting it, but if they do it’ll probably pop up in one of their “vulkan beta” driver releases.

And more…
Valve puts up Proton 5.13-4 to get Cyberpunk 2077 working on Linux for AMD GPUs

Valve updates Steam with more Linux improvements, new game properties UI

A fresh Beta update for the Steam Client has rolled out and it seems Valve have begun modernizing more parts of the UI, along with Linux fixes.

I’m sure it will annoy someone though, change always does.

Yes, me.

I dislike the new UI and how clunky it feels.

New ‘Proton Experimental’ appears in Steam, which includes 5.13-4 plus ‘Beginnings of Wine architectural work to reduce CPU overhead and improve performance in scenarios related to input and windowing.’

Yeah, keep preordering stuff. You deserve what you get.

:notes:

I wonder if it’s only Online and not single though…Would be a shame

I preorder very few games, but this was an exception.

I’m about 8 hours in so far, seen literally a couple of minor bugs, but otherwise no issues.

Really enjoying it a LOT so far, great game!:+1:

Allow me to quote GTA: Vice city for that matter:
