I reinstalled and i now have mouse function in qemu. I had to comment out hardware acceleration. But, now nothing is working when i click on the sway bar? :unamused:

Edit: Restarted a few times and now it works.

Edit2: How to set the display? Resolution in Qemu.

Hmmmmmā€¦@BONK same thing for you right? Weirdā€¦

It looks like it finds something makes a change but the change needs a reboot or at least a logout/in to set. Then it finds something else and does it againā€¦very strange.

Me wondering how no-one noticed the scroll direction for brightness was different to that of PulseAudio and silently changing it  :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

had some trouble running Gparted and grub-customizerā€¦

instructions here fixed itā€¦

tldr:

sudo pacman -S xorg-xhost

then run:

xhost +SI:localuser:root

sudo -E gparted not work?

nope got an error saying gtk-warning, cannot open display: :1

disable client acessā€¦
(of the top of my head)

xhost +

Then you can do sudo -E gparted.

Anyway. Thank you very much for testing!

Iā€™m doing double testingā€¦ Itā€™s a development image @joekamprad made with some of @dalto 's magic in there to use systemd-boot instead of grub

Ok update time. Switched out keyboard and mouse. This one is USB wireless. Same issues. Switching to USB 3.0 and rebooting does not work anymore. Also when it is in this state after unplug and replug selecting reboot on the power menu goes to logout. I switched to wireless because it is easier to unplug the receiver from a USB dongle then physical cables. Just to try another option I installed the zen kernel. All problems went away.

I use the zen kernel! Ah! That must be why I could only reproduce it sometimes! God Iā€™m a idiot that should be the first thing I noticed!

Reproduced that once a while agoā€¦Iā€™ll see abou that.

I always use zen but since this was a testing thing I pushed hard as I could with the standard kernel

I think it is a waybar thing. When in a bugged state it started to pickup the battery level on the mouse and displayed the percentage. Only other thing is the other keyboard and mouse are Razer periferals. It doesnā€™t see the mouse battery on zen.

Iā€™m not sure we can so much if the problem is with the kernel? (Which I donā€™t know too much about)

Iā€™ll try the LTS trmw and see if same thing happens on thereā€¦

. Thats certanaly a new issue! Mouse batteryā€¦ Thank you for all this! As helpful as always @BONK !
