I already have installed KDE, so option 1 is no go xd
Installing i3 on KDE should be good, just need to find a way how to get out of the box i3 eos

i3wm is a window manager (not DE) if you install from scratch (via pacman, not from iso with eos theming), no extras installed
I believe there is, you can check one of the discovery articles on the eos webpage.
haha, such a good answer xD
I hope @pebcak is not here
I do this very same thing, except i3 is pure soy, I use dwm.
dwm combined with konsole, kate and dolphin is really nice, actually!
True itâs for vegans
can you show us your dwm setup ? xD
Itâs very unremarkable, I just disabled the status bar. So itâs pretty much all black when nothing is running.
I use sometimes both i3 and dwm, but I am pesce pescatarian
haha, easy to setup xD
Well maybe so ⌠I forget as i might have installed both at the same time to try it. Normally i do that with Xfce/i3 and like i say itâs perfect for me.
Edit: Never used dwm but maybe someday @Kresimir will tell me how.
Yeah, I modified very little. Just some keybindings and removed the bar. Since I have KDE in addition to it, I really donât need anything fancy. I mainly use this on the laptop where I donât have the mouse and I hate the touchpad.
The only dwm advice I have is this: donât install it from the repos. Instead, download the source code from suckless.org and compile it yourself. Thatâs all you have to do, really⌠Keep it somewhere within your home directory, itâs tiny. No conflicts with anything.
@ricklinux you could then try ST terminal and surf âbrowserâ suckless
I wouldnât even know where to begin. Iâm just a noob!
I already surf âsucklessâ because I donât suck!
Like i said I donât suck. I use KDE! and Firefox and Western Digital Black drives without bugs Btw!
