Here’s my “Mustang” ![]()
Thanks ![]()
Today was a great day. It got a bit hot toward the end—32ºC—but there was no wind, which is a rare treat. I’m lucky to live in a country where I can ride outdoors all year round.
Wishing you great rides and tailwinds! ![]()

I like your bike
what manufactor is that?
This is the Merida Silex 4000.
It’s just that the color and font of the name offended my sense of beauty, so I deleted the labels ![]()
Then I changed the wheels…
Then I changed the tires…
Then I changed the saddle…
Then I changed the dropbar to flatbar and changed the “road” group to “mtb”…
Well, the rest is small stuff

ok, so it is a custom bike ![]()
You could say that, probably. But now he’s “mine” and 100% for me ![]()
that’s the most important thing!
I have fought this inner fight with myself about the fact that I should really do spring (or summer…) maintenance and wash for my Jopo and get it ready for duty.
I used to cycle really much at one point of my life. I should really start doing it more once again because I really enjoy it.
But maybe after Midsummer… ![]()
Do it now, you won’t regret it. Winter is coming … ![]()
I’ve thought about assembling a bike in a fixed gear many times… ![]()
But, I drive on roads where 36 teeth in front and 42 teeth in the back are not always enough ![]()
That sounds like some serious hills ![]()
Makes sense
Got a new bike. A college sold me his old Canyon Grand Canyon ![]()
Very happy with it. Only downside: My work has such bad bike racks that the bike felt down and now there is notch (didn’t know if that is the right word) on the fork ![]()
Bought a new bike stand. This thing looks solid ![]()
