Buying new laptop, need help

You could also order a more basic configuration for that Tuxedo laptop, as long as the amount stays under € 1000,- (incl. shipping costs) and buy the additional RAM locally.

Yeah, will try to configure again. If not, need to search again , probably Amazon or some local stores

It’s been said before, Check the Lenovo shop they have ongoing deals through the year. ThinkPads are way more sturdier than that Tuxedo laptop and it saves you the hassle.

I figured that separate graphics card will be better.

ThinkPad L14 AMD gen 3 is hard to find in EU, so still searching.

ACER I eliminated, seems like a cheap one  HP didnt find good one yet, DELL expensive xD

I found Zenbook 14 UX433, it is so beautiful , but probably not so good ( expensive )

Most of those Lenovo have Nvidia hybrid graphics.

Yes, but it should work, hopefully.

It is really hard to find good one, when I am limited with the choice in my country

Well i hope you can find what you want.

Just got a good deal on a Thinkpad Nano off the outlet. It came in like-new condition. Would highly recommend the Nano to anyone who values weight and portability above all else.

Did you already get it, installed EOS?

I would prefer Intel CPU over AMD. 16 GB of RAM can be enough for many things. I have a Lenovo laptop, EndeavourOS, MX Linux, Kubuntu run stably on it. The Asus were better a decade or two ago, I would rather choose Lenovo because of the better support. I don’t play much, I tend to choose the business line for laptops, I used to use HP. That’s all I could say about this topic in general.

Yes I did. Endeavor OS and Ubuntu 22.04 LTS both work great on it. I settled on EndeavourOS (obviously as I’m here lol) with GNOME.

Since it hasn’t been mentioned yet in this thread, two great Linux computer manufacturers of laptops are ThinkPenguin and System76. Hardware in these laptops will always work with Linux driver-wise.

Thinkpad T14s AMD with EOS and you will never regret it, that’s if you are not going to use it for Gaming, have been using it for the past 6 months and it’s really sturdy.

I am waiting for the t14s with the OLED :stuck_out_tongue:

Yes, everyone saying this. But kinda I don’t like it, haha. I mean design.

What tax are you talking about? Customs duty doesn’t apply on imports from other EU countries. Are you maybe talking about VAT?

Sorry, I’m talking about VAT.

@Brtza
So what laptops have you found in your location that are available, are in the price range you want, and that you are interested in.
