How about shellfish?
As much as my budget allows!
Same here!

About the new Pacman 6 possibilities
Did not try it yet…
It works fantastic.
I’m rather surprised that there wasn’t any announcement by Arch maintainers that Pacman 6 was being pushed to stable.
Conspiracy theorists know why! They are sitting around - looking at forum topics all over Arch-based-land and ROFL!
They are all sitting around and haven’t updated laughing at us.
Their idea of a GUI is a big button saying UPDATE, and it runs yay.
Still better than Pamac, I have to say…
Strange indeed. I did not see any messages related to this upgrade on arch-dev-public mailing list.
If you don’t like pamac, just don’t use it.
Signed: a 12 years long archlinux user. I found my may 2009 blog post where I said I went back to archlinux: https://blog.fredericbezies-ep.fr/2009/05/03/de-retour-sur-archlinux/
Sorry, it is in french, but seeing what I typed 12 years is interesting.
Well, at the moment it doesn’t matter whether you like or dislike pamac, you’re not using it either way…

Guys, please don’t let Pamac become a dividing line in the Arch Community
I’m pretty sure the “Arch Community” is safe from any such divisions based on the use of GUI package managers. The Arch Wiki is pretty explicit regarding that.
If you doubt it, I encourage you to post your concerns to Arch Forum and observe the replies you get.1
1 Not an actual encouragement. We both know what the reply would be, no need to do it, seriously.
Why should one care about Arch forums/community or even their attitude towards specific topics? ![]()
I’m not very interested in all kind of elite behaviour. I experienced that way too often during my linux journey.
To this very day I am still facing the issues over my first encounter:

So, thanks but no thanks!
edit
BTW, the intent of my post was to not be taken seriously. Perhaps I should have put a
. But that would have been too obvious…
No idea, really. But obviously, some concern tro concerned individuals do. ![]()
There’s a therapy group in the lounge for all things Arch!
Went back to Manjaro thx anyway
