Heaven forbid that people actually read the information on the page(s) before finding the link for downloading the ISO.

Like gnu is not Unix, eos is onot sManjaro.
If you can’t find it how to download the iso from the unbelievably blatantly obvious button that says “download,” I’m 100% confident that potential user is not capable of running Endeavour and I wouldn’t want them to be trying the distro at that point anyway.
I won’t watch this video as it’s nothing but click bait. And I’m ashamed anyone thought this would be a good thing to post on the forum.
Please use Mint, or whatever distro is easier to find a download for.
Seriously, please go there. Don’t come back.
I bet you if someone can’t find the download button they can’t find the search button in the forum.
My personal experience when I first tried to download. I was trying to click EndeavourOS_Atlantis_neo-21_5.iso
and wondered why the iso didn’t download.
After going through other pages and failing to find a link for 10 minutes, I went back to the downloads page and scrolled down, and found the download links of various mirrors.
It would be great if the downloads links were at the top.
My next one to be reviewed is EndeavourOS.

So there you got it guys
I rather suspect that the whole thing here was more of a troll attempt.
To be honest… when I first wanted to download EOS, I thought, wtf, where’s a link here? You want to “force” me to read all this beforehand?
But the info you scroll past can be very important to complete the installation successfully. Thus, for me, the design of the download page has quite a justification.
Instead of complaining, someone could simply point out how the ‘problem’ can be solved instead of looking for someone to blame with the index finger.
The leisure project EndeavorOS cannot be compared with professional projects like Mint or Manjaro.
We’re just a bunch of buddies who met each other by chance developing an Arch based installer with this motley bunch of quirky community members and having fun!
No professional web designers or marketing specialists.
But welcoming contribution.
(only my personal opinion)

We could also go for a completely new way to install where you only need to click one time to install directly from the website
We are looking gooood!
hell yea
There you have the crew
We rock with EnOS!
They will figure out how to create a thread though for sure. . . .
So, I caved and watched some of this. It’s HILARIOUS. from the main webpage I can have an Iso downloading in exactly 2 clicks.
→ latest relase → download
I’m not sure short of me coming over to the guy’s house and installing it for him, could we make this process any easier.
And another very poor showing from Linux youtubers/podcasters. OOTB is still the only person I actually enjoy. Although, this guy can’t figure out how to use a simple website, I still think he might be more entertaining than that smiling whiney ass Chris tech talk guy. Mostly because of the reproduction 1980s pacman poster he put in a clearance rack picture frame, or the black accordion styrofoam pinned to his wall to distract from the mobile home door and decor he put up to give himself a forever room in his Mom’s basement. Other decorations are the febreeze bottle underneath a 2003 hp monitor on a stand up desk he hasn’t used since probably 2003 when it was setup. The febreeze is to help mask the vape smell I’m sure - which is probably also febreeze scented anyway, but it doesn’t set off his smoke alarm above his head next to the 3" guitar sticker he got in his 5th grade valentine’s day card anymore.
PUT THE LINK IN A BETTER PLACE, THE TOP MIDDLE IS TERRIBLE!!!
now i need to review the video … with a different angle
Apropos absolutely nothing at all:
The premise of “don’t feed the trolls” implies that if you ignore a troll, they will inevitably get bored or say, “Oh, you didn’t nibble at my bait? Good play, sir!” and tip their cap and go on their way.

Longish read but interesting even though it’s The Verge
I prefer the ABBAB’s of troll hunting.
Always Be Berating And Belittling
Somehow this all brings to my mind Arthur Dent’s discussion with the bulldozer man in Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy where Arthur wanted to know why there wasn’t information about demolition of his house:
“But the plans were on display…”
“On display? I eventually had to go down to the cellar to find them.”
“That’s the display department.”
“With a flashlight.”
“Ah, well, the lights had probably gone.”
“So had the stairs.”
“But look, you found the notice, didn’t you?”
“Yes,” said Arthur, “yes I did. It was on display in the bottom of a locked filing cabinet stuck in a disused lavatory with a sign on the door saying ‘Beware of the Leopard.”
