Anyone else find it highly annoying when people post Linux reviews on Youtube and it’s nothing more than a virtual machine install and then just moving the mouse around the desktop while playing crap music?
Not really … life is too short to get annoyed over things like that. Just click the close button.
I’m not losing any sleep over it, but I fully agree with you that most Linux distro reviews on YouTube (and in general) are complete rubbish. Also, did you notice that most of these “professional Linux reviewers” tell you not to distro hop? I find that a bit hypocritical, and I also think that you should distro hop (maybe even dedicate an old laptop just for distro hopping).
I do watch a few Linux-related YouTube channels, but they typically do not do distro reviews, but talk about more useful or more entertaining things: channels like Mental Outlaw, DistroTube, Luke Smith, budlabs, Kris Occhipinti, and I find Lunduke is small doses entertaining, as well.
Yeah i know…Soy-reviews from 3 year olds
It’s terrible…but let them be
Yes this is annoying… no one could even follow it or want to! I just don’t watch it!
It doesn’t annoy me at all, as I don’t watch distro reviews on YouTube.
And the point of this thread is…?
Just a scream in the night of the sky, with a strong will of improving our society and forms of collective knowledge sharing
At least there is the comic relief of seeing them run black arch in a windows vm
