To be clear, this is NOT about what you’re torrenting, the legalities of torrenting, or any pirating links/sites.
Having said that, those of you who torrent, what is your go-to torrent client? I’ve used Qbittorrent for a long time. Many years, actually. Lately, I’ve found KDE’s Ktorrent to be far superior. At least in my user-case the past several months. I think I’ve made the change to Ktorrent permanently.
Qbittorrent. Was one of one my first experiences with foss, all because i was stuck in a ad loop in utorrent, so i decided to look for a alternative. Used it in win 7, 10, and i will keep using it in Endeavour !
Napster was my introduction to torrents. Probably for many other also. I think torrents got a bad rap from that. Anyway, I think it was utorrent that I used. It was amazing to watch it work as I was easily impressed back then. I use qbittorrent now. It seems to be a full featured client.
Qbittorrent! The best one out there!
I started with Napster then Kazaa(before thy turned bad) then uTorrent(and switched when thy got bad) to Qbittorrent.
Qbittorrent is simply the best, i’ve had times where i tried a bunch of torrent clients, back in the day on windows i’d always end up on utorrent or bittorrent, when they were badly compromised one day i started looking for alternatives and found qbittorrent and it just worked.
On the linux sid ei used something like deluge and i think transmission too, but they just weren’t working very well, i switched between torrent clients a bit but ended up going back to qbittorrent, where again, everything just works.
Qbittorrent is the way to go, no matter if ur on linux or windoze.
