I have an odd display issue. when I open some windows or when a program opens a modal window they appear to be scaled incorrectly large and then pop into the appropriate scaling. For modals it doesn’t happen until I move or grab the window. I’ve already set both my monitors (unlike in the attached movie) to the same scale which doesn’t do a thing. Any ideas?
Fractional scaling is doing this. Change the settings to correct it.
so I changed them both to 100% and it didn’t do anything. Do I have to reboot after changing the settings?

Might be theme related too, saw this on one of my laptops in the past but didn’t see it anymore.
Thanks I’m on KDE Wayland not Gnome. Didn’t see anything that might help unless someone has can point out something I missed

Thought as much. Wayland is still working out some bugs, being a newer system.
I don’t know how to help, but, maybe it’d be worth checking if the issue happens on another DE that uses Wayland (Gnome is one). If not, maybe ask the KDE forums. If so… idk if Wayland has a forum but you get the idea
Thanks for the advice. If it’s a Wayland issue that actually helps me mentally deal with it, as opposed to something that I can fix
