Wifi not working in Dual Booting

I’ve tried completely uninstalling and removing it, then manually downloading the wifi adapters then rebooting. It hasn’t helped me unfortunately. Maybe I downloaded the wrong adapters, but I dont think so.

edit: I went into EndeavorOS and installed the wifi adapters onto a USB, rebooted into windows and installed them there. Did not fix the issue unfortunately

It is a realtek rtl8852be so on Windows let me see if i can find the driver for it.

I appreciate the help! I’ll double check as well to make sure I downloaded the correct adapter as well and look for that adapter.

Edit: just to clarify once more, I am using an ASUS TUF GAMING A16 FA617NT laptop

Is this the driver you downloaded and installed?

Yes, I downloaded the top link in the “network” section.

Watch the video.

Edit: Maybe this will help you figure it out on Windows.

@RAPLAMA

Sorry I misunderstood you from the beginning. I didn’t realize it wasn’t working only on Windows. I assumed it was a problem on endeavouros afterwards. :person_facepalming:

Perfectly okay! I probably should’ve been more clear, that’s all. I appreciate the help regardless!

Unfortunately the video you sent earlier are things I’ve already tried :frowning:

I’m really stuck im not sure what to do. The only thing that I can maybe think of is updating my BIOS, since I’m not sure if I did that part correctly when I first attempted it. Other than that im lost

How did you do the bios update?

Edit:

I would use asus ez flash utility. Also since you don’t have WiFi on Windows!

I think I actually didn’t update BIOS at all, I was going to but got caught up with other things and left my computer for a bit. My bad for the misconception! I’ll try it right now, fingers crossed it works!

Edit: managed to download the BIOS file, pretty sure I need to format my USB to FAT32. I’ll update you when I can

I updated my bios using EZ flash utility. The issue is still here, nothing fixed :frowning:

This is so confusing I really am lost

When you go into Windows in device manager what does it show? Any exclamation mark or anything?

Edit: Are you sure that the WiFi is not turned off with one of the Function keys?

Edit2: Is WiFi enabled in the Bios?

Edit3: I think the WiFi function key is F12?

Wifi is enabled. The exact issue is that it says “No internet, secured”

I genuinely am not sure what to do. Do you think, by any chance, if I uninstalled EndeavorOS it would fix? I’ll most likely reinstall it later once I can, and this time I’ll make sure it’s on a different drive

Is that your internet SpectrumSetup-B1E1?

What are the others?

The others are just my neighbors. I tried connecting via Hotspot to see if it was specifically my network but it also didn’t work.

Edit: SpectrumSetup-B1E1 is my network yes

It’s almost like it’s already connected? Did you click on the disconnect button?

It’s so weird right? I tried clicking the disconnect, forget network, etc. I’ve done all those fixes to see if it ended up being something small, but still hasn’t worked.

Did you also try toggling off the wifi button in that window and then turn it back on after a minute?
