Hello, I recently installed EndeavorOS on my laptop, dual-booting with both OSs on the same drive. Everything has been working perfectly normal for the past week until today when I booted into Windows, my laptop cannot connect to the internet. After realizing the simple fixes did not work, I decided to boot into EndeavorOS and found the wifi to work perfectly normal which stumped me. I’ve tried the following so far but not in order:
Uninstall and reinstall drivers
Manually change time rather than set to automatic
Disabled both fast boot and fast startup
Flushed DNS
Sfc Scan
Network reset
Delete wifi profile
Power flush
I’m quite stuck. Does anyone have an idea on what I can do to fix this? Also I may be late to some replies so I ask for some patience, I appreciate all help.
Does your motherboard have WiFi onboard? Is this a desktop? Post the url for your hardware.

Edit: If this is a desktop with onboard WiFi and dual boot then the best thing to do is shutdown and unplug the desktop. Then hold the power button down for more than 30 seconds to drain power. Then plug the desktop back in and power it on. You may also have to turn off power management on your WiFi hardware.
Edit: If booting with Windows make sure that the fast startup feature in Windows power management is turned off.
The fast startup feature in windows power management has already been turned off as well as fast boot in BIOS. I am currently on a laptop, NOT a desktop. I’ve tried draining the power, waited around 5 minutes to be sure that it’s drained only for it to still not work. Also, just to clarify, yes, I am using dual boot.
For the motherboard, im currently using the ASUS TUF GAMING A16 FA617NS, and I believe it does have WiFi on board. Any other ideas? I really appreciate the help again.
I don’t recall that right now… I think it’s Mediatek. My wife’s laptop has AMD processor, but if I don’t remember wrong, there are also Intel ones out there…

Well, the only solution that comes to my mind is trying to uninstalling and reinstalling driver on Windows (if I understood issue being on Windows, not EOS) and enabling/disabling device from Device Manager.
I had something similar happening long while back during reinstall of Windows. I think it was sound card, but it decided not to work, and I had to do it like this.
I’ll try that. If nothing works, would a complete renewal of EndeavorOS help? I don’t have anything important on the OS since I’m still brand new to it so I don’t mind losing the very little data I have on that partition.
Looks like disabling and renabling as well as uninstall and reinstalling the wifi cards and adapters hasn’t fixed this issue. I really don’t know what’s causing this, but I honestly have a feeling it might be because both my windowsOS and EOS are on the same SSD. I don’t know how likely that is, but nothing seems to be working so that could just be the case. By any chance would you guys still have an idea as what to do?

yeah exactly, I understand this isn’t necessarily an EOS problem so I apologize if I’m not asking the right people for help, but I wasn’t sure where else to go, especially since this only occured after installing EndeavorOS. By any chance would you still know the cause of the issue?
