I agree with most of his points, too (apart from EndeavourOS, which he totally missed, in my opinion, and his point on Arch is somewhat weak, too), which is exactly the reason why I use EndeavourOS.
However, his post in total is much less than the sum of its parts, especially his main premise that Linux distros are somehow fundamentally flawed. I know that one can be quite happy with a Linux desktop, with a proper mindset, of course.

No linux distro ever dies, it’s forked and given a new motive. So if endevouros meets that fate a part of it and antegeros will be there in the xyz os. Same for all the distros.
The available evidence overwhelmingly suggests the opposite. There are hundreds, if not thousands of dead Linux distros.
Antergos is just one spectacular example, because it shocked so many people. Just like people, most distros die quietly and few remember them.
No i am saying that good distros do die but they are then forked so… philiosphically they still live in there fork ! 
What was the point of this thread again?
