Which init do you prefer?

Between systemd, runit, s6, openrc, and dinit … which do you prefer and why?

The one that gets my system up and running :stuck_out_tongue:

Honestly, I’ve never had problems with systemd, so I stuck with it. I even prefer systemd-boot to GRUB.

runit is pretty nice and simple, but soystemd is the easiest to administer, by far.

Systemd and openrc are cool

Of the ones I tried so far (System V, that other old one, OpenRC, SystemD) I found OpenRC the most easy to understand and maintain, while also being flexible.

That said I use SystemD now, because most distros do.

not soystemd
