At my local convenience store these are ringing up $6.87 for 3ā¦which is a steal. Thatās roughly $6USD for a 6-pack. Not too shabby and itās good imported stuff. Even sludge like PBR is more expensive than this*, I know this is in error, and eventually the store will catch it, but until then EJ or bust.*
EJ Review: the most business-like of all the Mexican beers. Itās not festive, sugary, or lime-y. Itās a straight ahead brew.
One of my pet peeves is not displaying the % clearly on the label.
If I have to look too hard I put it back on the shelf!

wow been about 10 years or more since Iāve tried this. Itās been about 3 years or more since Iāve been into a Trader Joeās. The price was more than right.
If you forgive my synesthesia, this beer tastes like the midwest. Midwesterners (Iām from IA) will know what Iām talking about as well as other swill enthusiasts. First thing I thought was āthis is Old Style beer with someone actually paying attention..ā Or Old Milwaukee if it they gave it a push over the edge. Better than Bud by a long shot.

The girlfriend wanted to hit the local indoor shooting range today, so after shooting several hundred 9mm and .45 ACP rounds weāre now relaxing with a new (to us) cider - Unified Press from Citizen Cider (Burlington, Vermont USA).
Well, itās tasty. A bit sweeter than off-dry but not too sweet. Iād like a bit more boldness in the apple flavor but itās quite good. I will have to check out a few more of their offerings.
EDIT - Ehh, as I drink a little more of it I do think itās a tad too sweet for my taste. Just a bit. Letās say itās just slightly past the borderline. Still good, though.
Now this is a cider that I can heartily recommend. Arlo extra-dry wild fermented cider (Shacksbury Cider, Vergennes, Vermont USA). Very dry, and just plain delicious. Itās a winner. Thereās a hint of funkiness - just a hint - that makes it especially interesting.
(The girlfriend isnāt as fond of it as I am - oh well, more for me
