Is that Mark “Chopper” Read? I saw the movie years ago when he came out and mum went to one of his stand up comedy shows when I was about 16/17.

These two videos:

About Mark Read. Yes. There s a few actors that play him. The one I posted above, and this one; Chopper (2000). Both are pretty good/funny.

I’ll have to check out the Underbelly version, I liked the first show of it.

The link to that one is above. (Free tv=tubitv). The website is weird though. The video will play for about 20 min, then it goes black. I think it s trying to show ads, but I m using a vpn, so I don t see them. I end up having to refresh the webpage, click play again, and then move the progress bar past where it went blank. Lately I been just downloading the video and watch it off site.

It is about where Tetris came from and how it became so popular world wide, based on a true story.

The end of this is just gold

Nice, it’s still one of my favourite games of all time, such a simple game that makes sense and pretty much anyone can play. I have had it on pretty much every PC and console I’ve owned.

I LOVE ME my Wes Anderson but didn’t get that one. the cameos were plentiful and gratuitous. perhaps they were distracting? Does it deserve a second chance? I liked the story of the kid and the hotel owner but the other stuff over my head.

I LOVE me my Tarantino flicks except that one. Horrible use of the Bowie song (one of his rare music screwups) and I didn’t smile or laugh once. Decapprio’s fake WW2 nazi film was in 'Once Upon a TIme in LA) was more interesting. I KNOW something went over my head and I should give it a second chance. Maybe I was in a bad mood when I saw it? Who knows what accounts for bad reviews.

For the record:
fave Wes: tie: tennenbaums and djareeling
fave Tarantino: Jackie Brown by a mile. then Kill Bills with Hollywood & Pulp.

the gateway restore was fascinating. at the 15min mark it was like a set of biblical plagues affected the rebuild. the workarounds and fixes were interesting. but he expected too much from the exisitng hardware (optic drive etc). like these kinds of vids though

watched one of these on a whim last night. then 3 more. forgot how good they were.
