The Kommissar and the Alps. That’s a typical German, totally stupid title. The original name of this series is simply Rocco Schiavone.
As Vice Questore, he was transferred from beautiful Rome to the even more beautiful Aosta Valley thanks to his unconventional nature. He smokes, smokes pot, swears, steals from criminals and is friends with criminals. Just like normal life, really.
Since I don’t have Amazon Prime, I bought some DVDs. The 5th season will be on DVD at the end of the month.

Arrival is based on the wonderful science fiction Story Story of your life by Ted Chiang.
It is really very difficult to turn a very good book into an exceptionally good movie. Arrival is an example of how to do it. Simply extraordinary.
