šŸŽ® What games are you playing?

Haha, there’s just something about them that keeps me returning to them too.

I guess it’s age related :sign_of_the_horns:t2:. I bought some games that looks like the old doom/wolfenstein 3d/duke nukem 3d graphics.

The gaming industry is not what is was in the past. The best games are between 90’s and 2013.

These days when a game get released at launch it has tons of issues. Needs a few patches spread over some months and then it’s decent/normal to play. The story is decent, everything needs to be maximized under the new gamers and the focus is on graphics.

Probably, while I enjoy a game with modern graphics I really like and admire the older pixel graphics etc, I think I also like that a lot of older games don’t hold your hand and required you to think about it. I really like games that can be modded to after finishing and seeing what others do with it.

Marvel Rivals, Fortnite, Brawlhalla.

Left Arch because it is a toxic community. Plays Brawlhalla.

I imagine Rivals and Fornite are the same, but I’ve never played them.

When did I say anything about leaving Arch? Where did you get that idea? :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Arch users are some of the most friendly and practical I’ve met ?

Not sure if you’re joking so, just in case: Hi everyone! Vanilla Arch user looking to be part of a friendly community

To be honest, I skimmed your intro. :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

All facts.

My brother in Christ, it says I left Reddit and Facebook groups. The fact you had the entire time it took you to go fetch that thread and comment it here and didn’t use two seconds of it to actually read what I wrote is…. quite something…….

You are right.

The graphics are really looking great on Endeavour OS. Total new experience for me, last time i played this game i still had my Acer Predator G9-793-71SJ notebook. Settings on that notebook medium/high and had stutter. My current notebook butter smooth and settings still on epic.

Theme Park from 1994.

I was just watching something on how this game was made the other day.

I don’t know too much about this game with how it was made, other than it’s older than me by a few years. I completed Theme hospital by the same developers so trying this game. GOG didn’t have the game manual but I eventually found one archived on another website as the game can be a bit confusing on some parts without the 63 page manual (I miss physical game manuals, or manuals in general now) but I have read the whole thing and am now prepared.

Fun game so far, taking in to account it’s age of course as some quality of life features didn’t exist yet when it was made.

Me too, I used to enjoy going through them

I’ve been playing a lot of Satisfactory. Half of it has been rebuilding my main factory after I unlock something new or have a new idea on how to organize everything. I just had the idea of building vertically and not purely horizontally. I’ll post screenshots later.

sounds interesting.

Some still get supplied as pdf :joy:
