“Cabrit sans cor” - Some garners of taste in this thread.
After enjoying the spectacle and bombast of Jedi - Fallen Order (Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast a superior Jedi-em-up IMO but it was still good), I’ve played a fun couple of Indie titles. First was Sable, a Zelda game as written by Becky Chambers (amazing), then a quick blitz through Her Story again, still a staggering narrative accomplishment. Lastly, What Remains of Edith finch (free from epic) - good but not as much as Firewatch or Gone Home, its obvious competitors.
A good old-style turn based RPG, whether it is the story, game/level design, graph/animations or gameplay everything is great this far, i haven’t seen one this good in a loooong time. Sure it’s nothing revolutionary but it’s really well made. If you like games like Golden Sun, Secret of Mana, FF, this is ABSOLUTELY worth a try.
I just ran across this on my YouTube rabbit hole. I don’t know how many of these are playable on Linux, but these are all right up my alley. I’ll be investigating further on the game titles tomorrow.

I’m playing a few games, I’m trying to finish Baldur’s Gate 3, but I was a bit disheartened after I discovered a bug in my playthrough, that wasn’t solved after loading a save from before act 3.
Mostly though I play Dead Cells. I love that game!
I need to get back to Diablo 2 Ressurected though! I never even finished Nightmare with my Barbarian back in the day, even though I did my first stint (only 10 days) as a fisherman at the age of fifteen, just so I could upgrade our pc from 16MB of ram to 48, buy a 10GB harddrive, and a pci graphics card (I was so disappointed when I discovered that our computer didn’t even have an agp slot). I did all of this mostly to get our PC to run Diablo 2 in an acceptable way.
diablo II were released for pc on my birthday xD
it were at year 2000, i played single player but when my parents got adsl (i think it were adsl or something) connection i started playing online and never looked back.
No Man’s Sky recently added “Corvette Class” ships that you design yourself and can carry multiple passengers. Smaller than the freighter but bigger than the single passenger ships. It’s pulled me back into the game.
gtk4 package was giving me an error about already existing in system. And of course update failed and I was dumb enough to reboot, causing an unbootable system. This level of pacman was difficult. Spent like an hour troubleshooting, arch-chrooting, recovering bootable system and searching for a way to beat the gtk4 error.
